The Most Special Christmas

Hello everyone! I want to greet all of you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I would like to share with you what happened on my Christmas eve. I wasn't able to spend it with my immediate family but I had the most romantic Christmas there is. I spent it with my future husband Jojo. It's the first time we've spent our Christmas alone with each other. He cooked pork stew for our Christmas dinner while I prepare buttered shrimp and ref cake. We also grilled some ham and siomai. Just after our dinner at around 9, we shared a bottle of wine while watching a movie online called "The Black Swan". I really feel luckier than someone who won in Casinos because I never thought we could have a romantic Christmas as this one. By the way, he gave me a silver earrings... I love it. December Escapade

My cousin is treating us to a US trip this December. She have been living and working in Las Vegas, Nevada for five years now. Still single and enjoying life to the fullest. Me and three other cousins are going there three days before Christmas to experience Christmas and leisure in Vegas. We will be staying there for a week and come back to the country before new year. Dreaming of A New House

For the past two years since I had this computer, I never fail to search for an affordable house that I can purchase through a loan. I've been wanting to have our own house in a nice subdivision since we're only renting our place. How exciting would it be to design your own house and buy custom fit chairs and tables. Though I really don't know when would it happen, I am still fervently wishing and praying that I could afford such a house. I already have my plans for it as early as now. I would definitely buy one of those cute tiffany table lamps that I'll use on the living room. I love their glass table lamps! Then I would purchase those huge chandeliers to have a more dramatic effect. I also would like to have it painted white and brown, two of my favorite colors. Have I told you that daydreaming is also one of those things I love to do during my rest days?

Being a call center representative was my dream job before. When I came here in the city to look for a job, I have always dreamed of working in an office, wearing headset, sitting in my desk, talking to people over the phone, assisting them with whatever they need. Fortunately, my dream came true, not that I am seen in one of those billboards now but that I am working in one of the country's prominent contact centers. I have just learned basic technical skills in the training and eventually from being on the phone everyday fixing technical issues of the callers.

  At first I was a bit scared, because I was not so confident with my English and that I might get lost and dont know how to fix the issue they are calling about. But for three years of being in this field, I have learned and quite master the craft. Sometimes I log in on the phone without tools at all yet pulled up on my screen because I came in to work late or sometimes the system is down. Sometimes we talk with our seatmates while assisting someone on the phone. Some things have became really easy for us but still not everything. There are a number of issues that I still fear hearing about and really get lost and stutter trying to make myself sound so knowledgeable about the issue. Some of those are email, assigning static IP addresses, and some software issues. Include there the business account issues like webhosting, managed hosting and the like. What I do when I encounter such issues is that I transfer the callers to another department if my make-believes do not work. There are a lot of things and issues about networking I still have to master, like this new thing I heard called colocation. Im looking forward for a more techy me to be more efficient in this career I am on now.

Updates on My Restday

Today I celebrate my fourth year in the office...one more year before our retirement yey! I am really excited about my retirement as it would symbolize a new chapter in my life. I would be then resigning and would put up my own business. I would try to be a full time blogger for maybe six months and would again apply as a part time technical support representative. I would most likely invest most of my time serving the Lord through the church. I can't wait until such time I would again be able to get closer to God the way I used to before.

Unfortunately, my shift today was not that good. I don't know what's wrong with me but I don't really feel like working. I guess it's because I am still affected by what I've dreamed of yesterday. It's about a guy I like. I really feel that this feelings I have for him was not reciprocated accordingly. It felt so real and it hit me real hard. Theres' been a lot of attempt to forget about him but all failed. As my friend told me earlier today, it must be a sign that this one sided love affair won't have a happy ending.

Anyways, since it's my rest day...I have a lot of time checking the net for my early Christmas shopping. I prefer buying Christmas gifts online as it would save me time and energy as I need not go to a retail store to buy stuff. I also do get a lot of discounts and most of the time, it's a lot cheaper than buying on a specialty shop.I want to buy a cute kids backpack for our baby Empoy and a personalized duffle bag for Eddyson. They are our little angels in the family. I also saw a something through Dallas lawn maintenance that would be a perfect gift for my mom so she could maintain her garden. I still don't have any idea on what to buy for my sisters and brothers and of course for my dad. I would try searching online for the perfect gift for them on my next rest day. For now, I would first watch my favorite movie. Good night everyone!

Home Coming

Went to Montalban and visited my mom a and my dear angel Empoy earlier today. We were supposed to go jogging and after that go to Church but since we made it to the house at around 9 am na…sobrang init na, we decided to just stay at home na lang. Empoy was still sleeping when I arrived. After about 15 minutes, I already saw his smiling face and my heart melt literally. I missed him so much! Since mama is going to the Church, were left with Empoy and Kuya Elmer. We ate our pasalubong na burger and palabok. We also bonded with dear Empoy the moment I checked the photo albums I was supposed to bring home from Montalban. After that, I rested and slept for about two hours until my mom came home. We had a hearty lunch and just had small conversation while watching Paparazzi after which we went home with my Kawaii Piano Organ. I really want to know how to play the piano and serve God through my music. I really pray I would be able to learn how to play the piano before the year ends. Went home at around 4pm riding a cab, spent P600 all in all for this day. Tsk, it’s already a lot for me. Well I guess I would just do overtime writing some paid articles. I know God will help me in my finances. I love this day!

For about three months now, we've been having some minor issues with our sink. We've been telling our landlord about what's going on but she keeps on telling us to wait further as she still have no budget for repair. Early Retirement

Ice, my friend and I would be celebrating our fourth year in the office next month. One more year and we can now get our early retirement pay which is equivalent to half our monthly salary multiplied by the number of years you serve the company. I am very excited for that time as I can now do the things that really matters to me. I would probably concentrate on my blogging business and would put up a small business. I would also most likely work part time in a call center as a technical support representative again or maybe a teacher. I could also use most of my time serving the Lord through chuch activities. I've never been this excited in my life...ever!

I only have one regret if I may say, I guess that would be leaving my friends behind. We already had formed this bond and that would be the hardest thing to forget. We always joke around especially on quickcom - a tool where employees can chat while in the office. Financial Struggle

I just recently received a call from my father saying he is again having some issues with the rent. One of his tenants would be leaving soon and would use the advance payment he gave us before. My dad is asking for financial help again and would like me to pay for his tenant's one month stay. My initial reaction was, why would I pay for that. Since we left the house, he was the one who gets all the benefits and then all of a sudden, when problem arises such as this one...I would be the one to suffer the consequences. I don't know why my father always needs something from me. I know it's my responsibility to pay them back for all things they've done for me...but I guess, I also need to teach them the value of money. If only I have enough, I would definitely help him, especially now that he already have his own family and a child who would be graduating from high school this year - but I also have my own needs. My hubby doesn't have a job right now and we're really struggling in our finances. Only if my dad quit Gambling long before all these things happened, I think our lives would be different. I guess were still together and our family would be most likely still in tact. I would have no reason to run away so I think I would still be enjoying my singlehood if my father had thought of my future. Anyway, past is past...there's no more time to cry over spilled milk. I guess I need to work double time from this time forward so I could help my father with whatever it is that he needs.

I've been wanting to have my own house and lot. For two years now, me and my hubby is living in an apartment owned by my sister who is working in Singapore. I admit, I wasn't able to go to church for the past five years - actually make it six. My Gift For Daddy

My father just recently visited me here in our apartment two days ago and I really pity him because of his health condition. Just last Saturday, my dad and my half brother visited us here at my sister's house. I wasn't able to see them for almost two months now and I'm so excited to be with them again. What A Crazy Month

It's been the craziest one month of my life so far. For one month, I've been living in a big lie and a big fantasy. I thought everything would be easy but it's as complicated as complicated can be. Friendship on the Rocks

Just earlier today, I received an email from my friends boyfriend. He asked me if I do have some kind of misunderstanding with Michelle, her gf, as she once told him that she would never talk to me anymore. I was shocked and worried at the same time as I don't ever recall having any fight with her. He said he is not sure and that he will contact me again once he was able to get the full details. Though I am positive that we don't have such fight, I am still bothered. I hurriedly texted our common friend Odette Jimenez to just check if she does have any info regarding our friend's sentiments and she said she doesn't have a clue. Next month would be Michelle's birthday and I am trying to throw a party for her. I even searched and even contacted some of our long lost friends through a Name Find site just to be able to invite as many friends as possible. I don't know if this surprise birthday party would push through because if she really is mad at me... I don't think this would work. Stressful Sunday

I'm so stressed today and I hate it! I woke up at around 10:30 PM, one hour before my shift. Usually, it takes me 30 minutes to fix myself and 20 minutes travel time, which means I still have the rest of the 10 minutes to relax. Unfortunately, it's really hard to get a taxi on our location. It took me almost 20 minutes to get one, that's the reason why I was late for almost 15 minutes. One more thing, I got a defective station so I need to get a different one. My coach told me to log out and find another station, it took me about 10 minutes to find one. Coach said I need to log back in immediately as he would only give me 15 minutes all in all to find a station and pull up my tools. What?! I can't believe it when he asked me to log in immediately though I still doesn't have my tools. I can't believe how inconsiderate he could get. I logged in having this burden and I had a bad mood the rest of my shift. I think I need time to relax and just chill out. I want to just stay at home the whole day and play the best online casino roulette there is. I want to play roulette gambling online and try my luck. Hopefully I win and get as much money as I can so I can buy things that would help me forget stress. One more thing, the company wants us to render 30 minutes overtime to help our service level. They want us to stay for another 30 minutes after our shift or cut down 30 minutes from our lunch. It's unbelievable. I don't know how long I could endure this but I am on the brink of quitting. I don't know if I could stay for another one and a half year more if things worsen.

Sexy Body, Sexy Dresses

Yesterday, my friend GK asked me if I want to join them as they are planning to enroll themselves in a gym close to our office. Well, that would really be fun as I really want to lose these extra 50 pounds off my body. It would be nice seeing myself in a bikini swimwear on our trip to Boracay next month or to wear a beautiful gown from La Femme Dresses for my cousin's wedding in November. I love to get one of those la femme dresses on sale so I really need to lose these extra weight to fit in to the dress. I've also seen a cute Cocktail Dress from Elegant Mart which I intend to purchase if only I could lose at least 20 pounds before November. I've never been skinny all my life so I am really hopping that I could at least experience wearing those kinds of dresses. I guess I would try to give myself one last shot. Will try to decide the whole day tomorrow and if my budget and my schedule would allow me, I would join my friends in the gym.

Gifts for Empoy

Since Empoy would be going to school very soon, it's nice to jot down some fun and memorable things he've done during his first year in school and writing it down into this cute book would be wonderful. I wish my mom also made some effort to give me some memorabilia when I was still a toddler but I guess posylane is not yet operational that time so never mind. Lol.

Those are my few chosen picks and I would definitely buy these things one of this days for my little angel Empoy for his birthday.

Last Tuesday, I together with my hubby had our weekly date in a mall near our house. I bought some office clothes and some evening dresses which I tend to wear on my hubbys birthday as I want to give me a surprise dinner party on his 33rd birthday. I also bought a shirt for him and some underwear. Since my hubby is not working in an office environment anymore and is just concentrating on our online business... I make sure that we go out once in a while. I don't want him to get bored with his online job and later on opt to work for a company again as I really believe that we can't get our financial security if we will both work for others. I know for a fact that if you want to get rich and live conveniently in life, you need to have a business of your own - and that is exactly the main reason why I asked him to work on our business instead. Good thing, my hubby is eager to learn new things about his online job and I'm positive that in just a couple of months...we'll gonna get the financial stability we are both dreaming of. I Want to Travel!

Seeing my friends again after two years is really a dream come true. I've been thinking of meeting them before for dinner but my schedule does'nt allow me. We've talked about a lot of things and I had so many realizations after that talk. I've realized that I need to unwind and treat myself once in a while. They said they've been in and out of the county because they are rewarding themselves through traveling. They said that I need to do that while I still can...while I still don't have a child and while I can still afford going places. I guess they have a point.

I've always been wanting to visit other countries but if I would be given a chance to travel abroad...I want it extra ordinary. I don't want to go to museums, to the beach, to the mall - I want it different. I really wasn't able to give so much thought about going to a specific place but I already have fun activities that I would like to do while traveling. Maybe watching a circus or rodeo watching would be exciting.I was able to check on a site that sells Nationals Final Rodeo Tickets and was really tempted to purchase one online immediately since the site teamonetickets.com sells out tickets at a reasonable price. I would really love seeing with my own eyes how those brave cowboys was able to work around with those angry bulls. That would be fun! I would like to go there soon, I guess I need to plot my vacation leave in preparation for that. Wish me luck!

College Best Friends

Last night, my college friends, Ruthie and Malen dropped by our house to celebrate my birthday! Since they confirmed our mini reunion a day before the event, I already planned ahead. I already planned what the menu and the agenda would be for the day. Got up early, around 3 am to work on my blogs and went to the market with my hubby at around 7am to buy ingredients for our Pork Nilaga menu. I also bought ingredients for my mango crema de fruita. They said they would be here at around 12 noon so we started cooking at 9am. Since I've been cooking the whole day, I took a nap at around 12 nn and just asked my hubby to wake me up once I received a text from them. To my surprise after I got up at around 3 pm, I still was'nt able to receive a text from them. I panicked and texted them, good thing, they are already in the vicinity and is now asking for directions on how to go on our place. Fortunately, Ruthie was able to remember the way to our apartment and to my surprise, I already saw them on our doorsteps. Since they arrived, we had a blast! They brought cake and gifts with them. Ruthie gave me a cute bracelet and Malen gave me a cute blouse. Oh my, my friends are soooo generous! This is the first and only birthday I had in my entire 30 days of existence wherein I was able to get more than ten birthday presents! God really blesses me with good things. After eating dinner, we had fun singing using our videoke and had a cocktail drink party while Jojo cook our "pulutan". We laugh almost the whole time and I think it's because of the influence of my own rendition of Zombie Cocktail. Seems they like the combination of brandy, vodka, grenadine and strawberry juice that they asked me how to make one. I'm so proud of myself that I was able to make such good drink though I never had any formal education about mixing drinks. I was able to confirm that my Zombie tastes great because my officemates also told me the same thing. Anyways, after videoke session...I asked hubby to get our mattress so we could all lie down while watching television and since Ruthie just came from a 5am to 1pm shift...she was the first one to fall asleep. Lol. They stayed till 10 pm and Jhun, Ruthie's fiancee came over to fetch them. Unfortunately, the car he is using had some issues which forced them to leave the car at our house and just commute. He said he will just go back tomorrow to fetch it. Though that is such an unfortunate event, overall - I love my day. We were able to update ourselves with whats happening in our lives and what we need to improve on ourselves. We talked about career, future plans, travels, vacations, blogging and lovelife. Lord, please always bless my friends. We made a pact that we will work on this relationship we have and we will never let it fail just like that. The last time I saw them was two years ago and I don't want to see them just every two years. I will do my part promise...I will let them know ALWAYS how i love and miss them. They are my sisters in the real sense of the word. Thank you Lord for this day. Amen!

In the next two years, a lot of changes would occur in my life. I would soon be retiring from my job and would just concentrate on my online job. I am also considering putting up my own business. Broken Hearted

I really don't know why my hubby is acting up like this again. It's just so happen that whenever my mom would visit me here in our house...my hubby feels left out and becomes vulnerable. Just earlier this morning, he is washing our clothes and well,I was still asleep. I heard mom tell him to make sure that he hang the clothes properly as to make sure it would not smell. I also heard her ask him if he is watering the plants as she feels Jojo is not doing his task. I guess those words hurted my hubby's feelings and became reluctant afterwards. He doesn't want to eat with us outside and would prefer eating in our room while watching a movie through the dvd player. It hurts me that my mom and my hubby is having this kind of cold war. I know at times mom become so authoritative but I know her motives...she want's us to improve our lifestyle. I also feel for my hubby as he feels mom sees nobody but him. He feels inferior as he is only working at home,contributing only a small portion of our budget compared to what I am giving. I am really torn and I am so sad. I asked hubby to please help me as I don't want to be sad on my birthday week and he promised to ask an apology to my mom later today. If he do that, I would treat him to a movie tonight...if he does'nt...we're stuck here at home. I'll tell you what will happen later. Please pray for our family. Thanks.

My Dream Business and My Pick Up Truck

Thank you for everyone who greeted me on my birthday, it's indeed a very special and memorable event for me as most of my friends was able to go to my mini birthday bash. Well, after the party, the thought about my age suddenly came to my mind and I realized that I am not getting any younger. In this stage of my life, I should now act out what I had planned years before if I really want to reach my goals. This is not the planning stage anymore, this is the reality. So I guess I need to be brave this time and do what needs to be done.


Since I was a child, I already know what I want. I want to be a businesswoman. Seeing myself being one gives me hope and energy to strive harder in life, knowing that if I work harder, I can earn more and having more money means having the ability to start a business of my own. I’ve been working for almost seven years now and I think it’s time for me to think of some other ways to earn. I don’t want to be an employee forever. Having a business of my own would definitely boost my morale, would give me a sense of direction, would give me the freedom to choose what path I need to take. Excitement is the only word I can think of right now whenever thoughts like this comes to mind. I guess I need to save a little bit more as I know I also need to consider a lot of things. I need to have more than extra savings especially if I need to put up a business of my own.

I always want to put up a retail shop. A shop where I can sell grocery items to our community. It would be like a small grocery store and a one stop shop. I know I need to have a dependable truck on this type of business and I fell in love with the Ford pick up because of its elegance. I would use it for my business during the day and use it to socialize with my friends in the evening. It's gorgeous! I would also buy some pick up accessories such as vent visors, truck bed cover, running boards,or the ever famous truxedo tonneau cover. Buying this pick up would be at the top of my "to buy" list for this year and hopefully I can start my own biz early next year. Wish me luck!

Lazy Day Off

I hate it! It's my rest day but here I am confined in my room as our landlady decided to beautify our apartment and paint the walls. Actually, I have nothing against it - in fact it's nice for our landlord to do that as it would definitely improve the look and feel of the house. Unfortunately, she decided to have it done just in time of my rest day! We thought they would do it last week while I am at the office so they would be finish the moment I came home, unfortunately, they picked a day when I was supposed to relax at home. Arrrgh. So here I am, trying my best to concentrate and work on my blogs instead of hopping from one friend's Facebook profile to another. I've noticed that I really can't do anything on my blogs especially when I already signed in to FB. Haisst, I promise to control myself from now on and would only sign in to Facebook once I'm already finished with my work. Hope I can finish all my task on time. For the meantime, I think I need to take a nap and hopefully when I wake up...they've already finished with their paint job.

Mom's Birthday

Mom is turning 46 next month, on the 6th exactly. I'm wondering where to treat her on her special day. Sis and I were talking about surprising her. She suggested we go and watch the Black-Eyed Peas concert on the 10th of February. A little late for her birth day but that would be a good time where our schedules meet. Mom likes the group too, kinda weird for a 46-year old? Well, yeah but mom is someone who likes the music of today except hard-rock though. Sis saw the schedule of the concert while browsing for St. Pete Times Forum Tickets. We are also considering getting some Sesame Street Live Tickets. Mom always wants to bring our young cousins along for any trip or outing. But we still have to agree on that. We want her day to be celebrated by just the three of us and just spend another party or gathering for the rest of the family members and close friends.

When our aunt Jhing knew about our plans, she suggested that we just get Staples Center Tickets and watch the Los Angeles Lakers play. She is a big fan of Kobe Bryant and the whole team. Well, I love them too but I dont think mom will enjoy that very much. Hmmm.. this will be a tough decision-making. I wish someone could ask mom what she wishes on her birth day without her knowing of our plan to give it to her. I guess that would be perfect to make her really happy on her special day.

I just got up from a nap and so far so good. I am currently blogging my heart out while watching tv. I am waiting for my hubby to wake up as we would soon need to prepare for dinner. Another Chitchat with a Caller

Working in a call center is stressful but at same time enjoyable. I get to speak with different types of people and somehow I was able to familiarize myself with American way of life. Luckily, we do have cable television at home and since I am fond of watching American series... I normally use that to develop rapport among my customers. One time, I asked if they are familiar with the series "Gossip Girl", I told her that I am an avid fan and that I subscribed to a local cable company just to make sure I am always updated with what's happening in the said series. She said she is and in the tone of her voice, I know I have started a good conversation...

She said she is so excited with her new Direct TV subscription. She said I should opt to get Direct TV as there are a number of Direct TV Packages to choose from. Since I am really not familiar with Directv, I asked her what's the difference between regular Cable TV subscription and Direct TV. According to her, her Direct TV in California offers superior sound clarity and picture quality compared to the ordinary cable televisions. I've learned that with Direct TV, people have the choice to get their favorite channels instead of having tp pay for channels you really don't like to watch in the first place. Furthermore, a number of Direct TV deals are hard to resist as they offer the best services at an affordable rate. If only direct TV was offered here, I would definitely subscribe to it instead of having to pay for a cable company which makes me pay for subscription to a number of channels that I really don't watch most of the time. Thanks to my caller, I was able to learn something new today.

Cobalt Health Services

It's my restday today and so far, I'm loving every minute of it. Just earlier today, my hubby bought this electric griller and we had a sumptous meal of grilled fish, liempo and tofu. It's so delicious! I asked him to buy a griller for me because one of my new year's resolution is to eat healthier food. I love it!

Well, my morning was spent in front of the tv and computer. I am actually wanting to find a second job. I know that for me to be able to have additional skills, I need to enroll myself in school. One option I have is to enroll myself in Medical Billing programs.Those programs can typically be completed in less than a year at most vocational colleges. In fact, many medical billing schools will allow you to earn your diploma in just 6 months!I wanted to have a medical billing career as it is in demand right now. I've always had this feeling of wanting to work in a medical field as I want to help sick people but seeing a lot of blood terrifies me. I want to have a medical career which would require me to work in the background and when I've learned about medical billing and coding career...I told myself that I want to pursue that.

The medical billing and coding career field is for someone who wants to work in health care, but would prefer to work in more an administrative role—instead of with patients. I guess that's the closest career I could get in a medical field. There are a lot of companies that offers complete medical billing services to physicians, health providers, hospitals and surgery centers. These companies needs a lot of medical billers. Medical billers are responsible for making sure everyone is being billed correctly. They also provides accounts receivable management so a little knowledge in math is necessary if anyone wants to have this kind of career. At last, It's my Rest Day!

It's my rest day today. I with Jojo just enjoyed the day by watching DVDs and just cooking our favorite foods such as macaroni soup, fried chicken, and sinigang na baboy. I really make sure that I enjoy every single second of my day off so I only sleep for around two to three hours...just a short nap to recharge my body would be fine. Since my hubby is the one in charge of our online job and household chores, he is working extra hard whenever I'm around the house all day. He needs to go to and fro the supermarket to buy some stuff for the house and to get something to eat for me. He tends to be so stress whenever he is with me the whole day as I tend to be over controlling. Whenever I see something wrong in the house such as almost empty sugar container or only a few eggs left on the fridge...I panic and ask him to buy those stuff on a local supermarket. I know I have the tendency to be too bossy at times but I can't help it. I am a perfectionist type I may say and I want everything to be in order. So to make up for my hubby, I am planning to buy him a bicycle. It would definitely make life easier for him. I also would like to get those Bike Metal Shed that would provide secure outdoor storage for it. I know it's not much of a gift but I know my hubby would appreciate it. I was able to find a store online that sells out those Metal Sheds and I am also planning to buy a Metal Garden Shed for my mother on her next birthday.It's my way of showing how much I love and care for them. I just hope they'll love it.

Anyways, well gonna watch another movie in a little while, you guys have a great one!
